It’s a tongue-twister title – but this contemporary update manages to capture the essence of Shakespeare’s original whilst lending it a glossy modern resonance.
The action is relocated to a management consultancy where the Duke – now an MD – crucially fails to provide strong leadership for his staff.

“Making a window into men’s souls” a huge X-ray eye dominates the set, putting the characters’ conscience under scrutiny and finding them wanting. Nice twist – but the fact that some of the acting is under par undermines an otherwise invigorating production.
