Richard Stamp, 'Fringe Guru'
A thoughtful and even-handed script. As always with Siege Perilous’ productions, I admired the adventurous little details: the softly-softly opening (so underplayed that half the audience were still chatting as the actors arrived on stage), or the harmlessly offbeat decision to place a minor part of the set behind the audience’s heads.

Thom Dibdin, 'Annals of Edinburgh Stage' ***
This fringe-scale production continues to demonstrate Siege Perilous’ ability to punch above its weight, with a thought-provoking evening out.

Joyce McMillan, 'The Scotsman' ***
The play is performed with impressive skill and intensity by Andy Corelli’s company, featuring Corelli himself, Ian Sexon, Des O’Gorman and a fiercely impressive Clare Ross as Caitlin, the deeply damaged girl at the centre of the drama, for whom nothing has moved on since the day her brother died, and whose heart is truly as hard as stone.

Irene Brown, 'EdinburghGuide.com' ***
Andy Corelli’s direction in this small and intimate space is again laudable, and the use of sounds by Chloe Colvin impressive. A cat’s cradle of loyalty and disloyalty is exposed in this tense and gripping drama where the complex question of whether the past can ever be forgiven is posed.

Ros MacKenzie, "Lothian Life" ****
The rather enigmatic title hides a gem of a play, and some seriously good acting. The strength of this play lies in the dialogue, the unfolding of motives as to why atrocities were committed, why bitterness continues to fester, and why the human heart continues to believe in causes and grudges and grievances and revenge. All performances are utterly believable
